Lasagnaware has begun its journey towards ISO certification. The process is under way: today we are not yet certified.

Why we are doing it

We work on cloud, artificial intelligence, security and governance. In these areas, a client needs to be able to understand how we work and who is accountable for the result. Third-party certification makes this method verifiable by those outside the company.

Which standards

The process covers five standards. Two are the foundations, and three we chose ourselves because they are useful to a cloud and AI company.

  • ISO 9001. Quality: that our work is planned, checked and improved over time.
  • ISO/IEC 27001. Information security: that information is protected through a managed system of risks and controls.
  • ISO/IEC 27017. Security in cloud services: that the cloud services we provide and use are secured.
  • ISO/IEC 27018. Personal data protection in the cloud: that personal data stored in the cloud is handled with care.
  • ISO/IEC 42001. AI management system: that artificial intelligence is developed and used in a governed, accountable way.

What it means for those who work with us

The process covers processes, quality and security, one of our areas of expertise. It does not change our method: people who check, AI that produces. Every piece of work is checked by a person who is accountable for it.

This applies to our consulting services and to our products alike: Filomena, the AI booking assistant already on the market, and PRIMA (Previsione e Recupero Intelligente e Multicanale degli Appuntamenti), our healthcare project, which is in development.

Next steps

Until a certification has been issued, we will speak only of a process under way. When there is news, you will find it in this section.
